Associazione Calcio Milan, known commonly as A.C. Milan, is an Italian football club based in Milan, Lombardy. They play in red-and-black stripes, giving them the nickname rossoneri ("red-blacks"). One of the most successful clubs in the world, they won prestigious European Cup 6 times (second only to Real Madrid), Intercontinental Cup 3 times, Serie A 17 times (only rivals Juventus have more Scudetti) and Coppa Italia five times. It is also one of the most supported Soccer clubs in the world.

The A.C. Milan was founded in 1899 by Aflred Edwards, a British expatriate. In honours of its origins, the club has retained the English spelling of its cities name, instead of changing it to the Italian Milano, it should be noted that the current Italian pronunciation is actually MEE-lahn.

Historically, A.C. Mian (usually referred to as "Milan" in Italy) was supported by the citys working classes and trade unionists (who generally used to be immigrants from Southern Italy), while Inter, the other big club from the city, was mainly supported by the more prosperous and typically Milanese middle-class. However, in recent years, the clubs have seen a significant reversal in supporter bases, since Milan is now owned by media magnate and past conservative Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi, while Inter is now owned by a centre-left oil businessman, Massimo Moratti. However, A.C. Milan fans stil tend to be mainly left-wing as opposed to Inter Milan fans who always have been traditionally right-wing.

Inter Milan

We have tickets available for every Inter Milan event. All Inter Milan tickets are guaranteed by contract. All Inter Milan tickets will be delivered by FEDEX or Local courier. Every effort will be made to deliver your Inter Milan tickets as soon as possible.

Internazionale Milano Football Club, known as Inter Milan is an Italian football club based in Milan, Lombardy, which plays in the Serie A. It is more commonly known as Inter, and often named Inter Milan in foreign countries. The club wears the recognizable blue and black stripes.

Inter Milan have two very great rivalries. The first is obviously with cross-town arch-enemies, A.C. Milan. Inter is derived from AC Milan, so their rivalry has been in existence since creation: Inter fans generally represented the ruling and typically Milanese middle-class (nicknamed "bauscia", a Milanese term meaning "braggart") and was mostly supported by the immigrants from Southern Italy. During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s Inter was the more successful club, however in recent times AC Milan has been the more dominant team. Another rival of Inter is Juventus F.C.. Matches between these two teams are called the "Derby dItalia", primarily due to the fact that, as mentioned, these two teams are the only Italian teams to spend their entire histories in the top flight.

The stadium in which Inter Milan plays is called Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, also known as San Siro (since the stadium is in the "San Siro" district). It is considered among the most beautiful football venues in the world. It is previously simply known as San Siro, but a new name was adopted in 1980 after Giuseppe Meazzas death. Meazza was a famous player for FC Internazionale in the 1930s and also played for AC Milan for a brief period of time. As a player, he won two World Cups for Italy (in 1934 and 1938) and alongside Giovanni Ferrari, remains one of only two Italian players to have ever won the FIFA World Cup on two occasions. As a result, he is revered by the Interisti (Inter fans) and was honored by having one of the most famous football stadiums in the world named after him. The stadium seats 85,700 (the biggest in Italy, the 2nd of Europe and the 9th in the World) and plays host to both FC Internazionale and A.C. Milan.

It is widely regarded as one of the most supported and successful soccer teams in the world.

The Juventus Football Club typically plays in black-and-white striped shirts and white shorts (in some seasons black shorts), and is nicknamed la Vecchia Signora (the Old Lady, by the first official name), i bianconeri (black-and-whites), zebre (zebras), or depreciatively gobbi (humpbacks) by the opponents.

AS Roma

AS Roma, which is the Associazione Sportiva Roma is an Italian soccer club and the major in Rome and in central part of Italy. Nicknamed the giallorossi (yellow-reds), they currently play in Serie A. Romas home uniforms are purple red shirts with golden yellow borders, white shorts and black socks.

The emblem of the AS Roma is the capitoline she-wolf lactating twins, symbol of Rome, superimposed a bipartite golden-yellow over red shield; official colors are the same as those of the city of Rome, red for imperial dignity, gold for Christian god.

AS Roma was founded in July 1927. The city of Rome already had four teams in the Italian football league (Alba, Fortitudo, Roman F.C. and Lazio), however the Fascist regime wanted to merge the latter into one which the working classes could identify with and strong enough to challenge the traditional northern teams to reinforce Romes image as regime capital for propaganda purposes.

SS Lazio

S.S. Lazio (Italian: Società Sportiva Lazio Spa) is an Italian soccer team based in Rome, Latium. They are known as the biancoceleti. They play in light blue shirts, with white shorts and socks. The club was founded on January 9,1900 as Soecietà Podistica Lazio. The name Lazio was taken from the Latin word "Latium", which means "wide", in fact, Lazio is the name of the region which contains Rome. The sky blue and white team colors were inspired by the Greek flag and the country which gave birth to Olympic tradition; the eagle as an acknowledgement by its founders to the symbol of the Roman Empire.

The S.S. Lazio plays at the 82,656 seater Stadio Olimpico, shaed with A.S. Roma. The two teams play one another each year in the Rome derby, a fiery, emotional match often marked with tension and occasional crowd trouble in and aronud the stadium. Two extreme incidents in particular have left their mark on the history of this fixture. In 1979, Lazio fan Vincenzo Paparelli was hit in the eye and killed by a flare fired by a Roma fan from the opposite end of the stadium (entering in Italian history as the first fatal episode of football-related violence) and in 2003 an unprecedented event occured when the Roma Ultras forced the game to be suspended after spreading false rumours among the crowd present that a child had been killed by the police prior to the beginning of the game.

Generally speaking, S.S. Lazio draws most of its core support from Romes northern neighborhoods (Prati, Parioli, Salario, Nomentano, etc.) and its support is traditionally linked to Romes upper-middle class which has always given it an aristocratic appeal.
